One way of best utilising the design aspect is through tiling. After a wall has been prepared, tiles are applied to the wall with sufficient grouting to ensure a waterproof fitting. These prevent condensation, splashes of water and other dirt getting between the tiles. Which over time may cause mould and bad smells.
We can match floor tiles with wall tiles or provide different shades the further up the wall the tiling goes, or across the width of the room. This works well when taking into account night time lighting and sun light coming through windows.
Tiling does not need to encompass all of the bathroom, however if considering a wetroom, often we are asked to place ceiling tiles over any previously laid waterproof membrane. Tiles come in a variety of different sizes and patterns.
Through our no obligation free consultation we can mock up a 3D computer aided design that takes the very design of the tiles, so you can see what your bathroom will look like once completed. Use the brief enquiry form to arrange a visit by one of our in-house bathroom designers to get your project under way. If you just require tiling added to an existing bathroom, we offer that service too.
